I know that I am never alone, no matter how I feel. Bethel has helped me realize that I can turn those hardships into something valuable. Doing something like that can help you appreciate your school even more! Bethel offers so much to its students, but you have to take your own initiative as well, even if it can often feel uncomfortable. One of my best decisions was taking that opportunity. For example, I knew that I wanted to pursue studying a foreign language, and chose German - then I studied abroad for 9 months. However, not everything you will need is within the college. Bethel can sometimes be demanding, but if you reach out and work hard, most of the resources are there. Professors are extremely helpful and want to do all they can, but you also have to be in touch with yourself so that can you see what needs to be done or ask for help. Senior: Bethel College is an excellent place to receive an education. The faculty members are a diverse and excited to be here group of consummate professionals. In terms of value, this is no bargain-basement college. There is truly something for everyone at Washburn The lecture halls and classrooms are all updated to state of the art facilities.Ĭampus life holds all a person could need while enjoying the college experience, on campus stores, a centralized union and over 200 groups and clubs to explore. The classes have been a challenge, but since we are going into the real world in the next couple of years, its time for a challenge, and I know I made the right choice with coming to KU. They are effective at teaching in their own way and have helped me develop new ways of thinking that I never thought possible, particularly critical thinking and analysis. Additionally, I am planning to launch a well-being program club at KU to help with the mental health of students at the school. The University Honors Progam is the top honors program in the country, and has been very helpful with settling into KU. I have met many people through the Catholic center, dorms, and through the University Honors Program, which I am a member of. Freshman: My college experience has been very fruitful.
